Welcome to the Merse Medical Practice. Providing a high standard of healthcare to the residents of Duns, Chirnside and the Berwickshire area is at the heart of what we offer at the Merse Medical Practice. Our team of GPs, nurses and administrative staff take pride in providing good quality patient-centred healthcare.

Our team of GPs, nurses and administrative staff take pride in providing good quality patient-centred healthcare. The Merse Medical Practice team has 5 GPs all based at Duns. We have 1 Nurse Practitioner, 1 Practice Nurse, 1 Healthcare Assistant and a team of Medical Receptionists/Administrators. In addition to this we have a Business Manager who looks after the practice and can be contacted on the main surgery number should you have any queries or problems.
Our current locum GP is Dr Miller.
